On Wednesday, August 3rd, 2022 Perry Clark, Celeste Renaldo, and Brandon Blell gave a great presentation on the basic structure of Rotary. This presentation gave the club's newest members, as well as long-time members, a quick, overview of how Rotary works. It started with how Rotary International is made up of thirty-five zones, five-hundred districts, forty-six thousand clubs and 1.4 million Rotarians. Denver Lake Norman Rotary falls into zone 33, district 7670, and club number 31056 and is associated with two 501c(3) organizations, the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Club Foundation, and Denver Days/Music in the Park. Also listed were the programs that the club has supported over the years and many that the club continues to support each year. The presentation also showed the Values and Beliefs of Rotary, the Rotary motto “Service Above Self”, its Guiding Principles, many of which are said at each meeting. There was also a page that listed the Rotary Acronyms that are used. Attached at the end of the was a page that gave several websites to reference to build one's knowledge of Rotary.

Many thanks again to Perry, Celeste, and Brandon for taking the time to communicate to the club.
