As we head towards Thanksgiving and the holiday season, there is a lot coming up on the Rotary calendar. On Tuesday, November 19th we will have our monthly Rotary social gathering at Your Wine Stop. On the following Tuesday, November 26th, Denver/Lake Norman Rotarians will be serving a Thanksgiving luncheon to the students and their parents at the Asbury Academy.
December brings us the Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting on Saturday the 8th and Sunday the 9th, respectivley. All Rotarians are expected to help out, especially with the Christmas Parade, where we need more parade marshals to work from 11 am to 3 pm. We will pass the sign-up sheet again at our next meeting.

2024 USO "Helmet Fund" Campaign Begins
Denver/Lake Norman Rotary will again be supporting our USO with this year's 'Helmet Fund', starting on November 6th and running through December 4th. The men and women of our uniformed services, most especially those deployed into active combat zones, are very grateful to our Club for its annual outpouring of caring and support.
