Greetings, Denver/Lake Norman Rotarians!

There's a lot going in the next month, staring with the second meeting of our Club's Foundation to start planning for our November 14-15 barbecue contest fundraiser. We will meet after our regular meeting on Wednesday. Please feel free to attend if you have any interest.

On Friday, the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Board will meet at Ross' office at 7:30 am. As always, our Board members and Committee Chairs will have much to cover. All club members are welcome to join us.

Directly following our Board meeting will be a chance to put your gardening skills to work at Amy's House for our Earth Day Beautification Project. Please see below or contact Hailey Cornwell for more info.

This Saturday, join our Rotary group at Michelle and Andy Busch's for our monthly Social - Cinco de Derby. Details are below.

The following weekend is the District 7670 Conference. See me or AG Andie Taylor for info on how to register.

Then on Saturday, May 17th is our first concert in Denver/Lake Norman Rotary's Music in the Park series, featuring the popular local band, Coming Up Brass. The music starts at 6:30 pm, but we can always use help with set-up and parking starting at about 5:30 pm as well as folks to sell raffle tickets during the concert.
