President's Message

Dear Rotarians,

I hope you enjoyed the sunshine and beautiful summer weather this weekend.

I am excited about what this week brings to our Rotary. On Wednesday morning, our own Michelle and Andy Busch will be our presenters and will be sharing their experiences from their recent trip to Israel. It promises to be insightful, informative and impactful, so please plan to join us at St. Peter's By-the-Lake at 7:30 am. Also, this Saturday, June 13th,is our annual Day at the Lake for foster children and their foster families. This event provides fun, connection and a carefree day of enjoyment for these kiddos and foster parents. It is a beautiful celebration of the safe, caring havens that our Lincoln County Advocacy Center, our social workers and foster families offer and the transformative power of the opportunity given to these beautiful children to heal, learn, thrive and experience joy. It is a truly spectacular day and I can't wait to serve and celebrate with you.

See you soon!

With gratitude,
Trudie

President-elect Ross Bulla Presents His Agenda for the 2026-2027 Rotary Year

Ross spoke at the June 3rd meeting. He presented an updated meeting format where the club will continue to have guest speakers on the first and third Wednesdays of each month. The second Wednesday will be titled “Inside Rotary” when committee chairs and members will work together to advance projects, discuss upcoming opportunities, and support the goals and priorities of the club. The fourth Wednesday will be devoted to service projects as determined by the Community Service Committee. When a fifth Wednesday occurs, it will be devoted to “Connections” where individual Rotarians share a short something unique about themselves. These will coincide with quarterly Rotary social events outside of the club's regular meetings.

Ross also shared the names of the Executives, Directors and Committee Chairs for 2026-2027 and distributed a handout with the roles and goals for each committee.
