Denver/Lake Norman Rotary's Two Newest Members Introduce Themselves to the Club

On Wednesday, January 19^th, the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary happily welcomed two of its newest members to speak to the club.

Vickey Baxley joined Rotary on December 22nd, 2021. She has two sons and is employed by the Liger Automotive Group. She has known Rotary's Crawford family for a while, and I am sure Trudie and Catherine had a role in helping her to join.  Vickey has worked with a disabilities ministry for approximately ten years. She has already been doing service work for Rotary by participating in its reading programs at Rock Springs Elementary School. Vickey also talked about photography as her hobby and how much she enjoys taking photos. The club will look forward to seeing Vickey and her camera at some of its events (hopefully no restrictions will be in place) during the coming year. Thanks again, Vickey for your time and introducing yourself to the club.

Bradley Robinson also joined Rotary on December 22nd, 2021. Brad in married with two girls, ages ten and thirteen. He lives in the Iron Station community on a six acres. This allows his family lots of room to enjoy four-wheeling on the property.  Brad’s dad worked for the 84 Lumber Company so his family moved often because of his job. They ended up in New York. Brad spent four years in the Air Force with his time ending while stationed in Guam. After returning home, Brad started working with steel and metals. After several years of doing this work, he started his own company, Denver Dumpster LLC. His company just received the contact for dumpster placement at the Trilogy subdivision. Brad said he has heard good things about Rotary from several friends of his and decided that this was something he wanted to do. Denver/Lake Norman Rotary is glad that he became a member.
