President's Message

Hello, Denver/Lake Norman Rotarians!

It was great seeing everyone enjoying themselves at last Wednesday's meeting. There was an awesome vibe that morning with many Happy Bucks, Charlie's Rotary Moment and a very engaging speaker, Dr. John Walker.

Looking ahead to Friday, May 2nd - club members are invited to either donate or participate in an Earth Day Beautification Project at Amy's House. Details can be found below.

And don't forget that we have even more spring activities, including the 2025 District 7670 Conference May 9th and 10th, Rotary's Music in the Park series which starts May 17th and our group's major service project, Foster Kids Day at the Lake on June 7th.

See you all at St. Peters this Wednesday!

Craig let us know he has had the pleasure of going to Phoenix PT for a rotator cuff injury. The one good thing was he ran into Cindy - good to commiserate with a fellow Rotarian.

Panico gave because Craig learned not to put the microphone so low.

Jim let us know a fellow 30 yr veteran Chris was joining us today, acknowledged Steve Baker’s haircut, let us know he has been at PT too for a bicep’s injury. Also let us know he texted Craig with his resignation from Rotary… but it was April 1st ... got him!

Sherry let us know about May 2nd will help beautify the Amy’s house so if you can help out, please do. Child abuse awareness month.

Thomas hoping NC state fans will lose today, they lost to Chapel Hill.

Andie went to RLI (Rotary Leadership Institute) enjoyed learning more, and she and her husband caught 11 rainbow trout yeah!

Trudie Loves her husband, friends and Max and Diesel, and French food, but her heart is hurting for her first celebrity crush Val Kilmer, who passed this week.

Denny San Antonio basketball and then FL to a meeting, John will be speaking today on Alzheimer’s and family care.

Steve gave sad dollars for his mother passed away Saturday night.

Cindy's April fools was her 46th anniversary with NY Life, so blessed.

Joanie is a veteran of PT herself, Phoenix 4 times!
