The raffle has always been a small fundraiser and a part of our meetings. But right now, we have noone to take over for Steve Gillespie who, effective July 1st is unable to continue to lead this group of volunteers who sell tickets and greet Rotarians and guests as they arrive. If you desire to assume a minor (but very significant) leadership role in our club, this is a golden opportunity to get your feet wet doing a pretty easy job as organizer of this willing group. Please contact me or Steve if you are interested in taking on this role.
Also, as most of you probably know, one of our club's signature projects, Foster Kids Day at the Lake is coming up soon. This year's event will be held at Camp Dogwood in Sherrills Ford on Saturday, June 7th from 11am to 3pm. Sherry Reinhardt will be passing around a signup sheet at this week's meeting or you can contact her directly.
I look forward to seeing everyone at St Peter's on Wednesday!
