President's Message

Welcome Back, Denver/Lake Norman Rotarians! I hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving.

Before the holiday we had a fabulous presentation from former member Jonathan Austin about his flights from Lincolnton to western North Carolina, immediately after Hurricane Helene came through. We have such great speakers week after week. Thanks to Celeste Renaldo for postponing her Scotland presentation so Jonathan could come and thanks to our Program Chair Missy Pipgrass for all of her hard work setting up the speaker schedule as well.

We have a very busy week coming up with our regular breakfast meeting on Wednesday, followed by our Denver/Lake Norman Rotary Board meeting on Friday and the Denver Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting this Saturday and Sunday. What a terrific time to get involved with Rotary and the Denver/Lake Norman community!

Looking forward to seeing you all Wednesday!

Craig

Denver/Lake Norman Rotary is again supporting our USO with this year's 'Helmet Fund', running through December 4th. The men and women of our uniformed services, most especially those deployed into active combat zones, are very grateful to our Club for its annual outpouring of caring and support.  It was just announced that the NHL will again match dollar for dollar all USO donations.
