Thomas will be leading the meeting this week in my absence. Reminder that due to covid restrictions we are still requiring masks and forgoing breakfast.
While I am on maternity leave, I will not be checking my Jonas Law email as frequently. You are welcome to email me at my personal account: ebunzey@gmail.com.
Thank you all for the love and support you’ve given us as Jim and I start our family!

The Denver Lake Norman Rotary Club welcomed its own Jerry Park as the speaker at its club meeting on Wednesday, September 15. Jerry is the club's Rotary Foundation Chairperson. Jerry did a great job on a difficult Rotary program to explain and talk about.
Jerry’s presentation started with a short video about the foundation. He explained how the foundation works and the difference between the Rotary Foundation and the Club Foundation. Each member as part of their quarterly dues does give to both of these foundations. When you give to the Rotary Foundation you can choose to have you donation go to:
Annual Fund
PolioPlus Fund
Approved Global Grants
Endowment Fund
The Club receives recognition for 100% Club giving as a “EREY”, Every Rotarian, Every Year. Each member has an opportunity to achieve levels in their donations to the Rotary Foundation.
You can become a Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) when you give $1,000.00 to the fund
You can become a Sustaining Member by giving $100.00 per year
You can become a Paul Harris Society member by giving $1,000.00 per year
There are additional levels that can be achieved per your donations
To find more information on the Rotary Foundation you can check on MyRotary.com by following the index tabs. Also, you can also use YouTube.com. Go to the “Search” block and key in Rotary Foundation and you will find a variety of presentations.
At our next few Rotary meetings we will have available some “Rotarian at Work” t-shirts for sale. These shirts are $10.00 each. Cash would be great. If there are no sizes that work for you, just add your name and size to the list and we'll get one made for you. This is a good time to pick up some extra t-shirts that you might need.
We all may not be beautiful (like some of us) but we will look good and show our support for Rotary!
At CAPC in Lincolnton, Sherry Reinhardt has replenished children's books in memory of Rotarian Andy Scriven and his Race to Reading initiative. Sherry, her staff and the children absolutely love them!
