Happy Halloween, Rotarians!
Another week and another great program from a club member! Katie Henry by way of ZOOM, hooked us up with Chris Summers from Belize who spoke about mangrove preservation through numerous slides and pictures. A wonderful discussion and I believe it to be the first time the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary had a Director of Operations of Crocodiles speak! NOTE: Special thanks to Thomas Eatmon for ensuring our technology was “up to snuff” for our meeting.
Then on Thursday night, Trudie Crawford hosted the PINTS & PINOT for POLIO, a superb event with 30+ people there and a wonderful way to raise more funds for a worthwhile cause. Thanks, Trudie for everything you do for Rotary! You rock!
This week, get ready for a pretty cool program. Have you ever heard of the story of the Montagnards? It’s a pretty special group of people and Ron Majors will share their story with our club.
Yours in Rotary!
