A couple of notes for you as you start your week….
1. Another great MUSIC IN THE PARK Saturday night! Very good crowd, great weather and it was great seeing many of you out at the park to help this event. Let’s get ready for a great August event as well.
2. Are you ready for some baseball? Steve Baker has arranged a repeat visit to the Hickory Crawdads! If you are interested in going, please sign up this week or contact Steve directly. It was a great trip last year and it’s a great way to spend a Sunday!
3. We will participate in National Night Out on Aug 2 and also have a POP UP service project on August 24 for school supplies. Go ahead and put those dates on your calendar!

"Take me out to the ballgame." On Sunday, August 7th Denver/Lake Norman Rotary has reservations on for the Hickory Crawdads versus the Asheville Tourists. Game time is 3 PM. Members, their spouses and friends attended a game last year and had a great time. Tickets are $25.00 per person and include the following:
All-you-can-eat picnic buffet with hamburgers, hot dogs, barbecue, baked beans, chili, cole slaw, chips, ice cream, and soft drinks. Food is available one half hour before the first pitch and runs for an hour into the game. Rotary has use of a picnic area under a covered pavilion for the entire game.
A sign-up sheet will circulate at the next few Denver/Lake Norman Rotary meetings and tickets may be charged to members' next quarterly invoices.
