Last week, Gary Dills gave us a wonderfully informative talk as he is the District Rotary Foundation Chairperson. Quite a background Gary possesses. Thank you Jim Perry for arranging this speaker.
Andie Taylor (who assumes the Presidency on July 1st) has been active in arranging a terrific board to serve with her. The nominees will be President Elect (Craig Buhrendorf), President Nominee (Trudie Crawford), Secretary (Katie Henry), Treasurer (Thomas Eatmon), Foundation (Jim Perry), International (Trudie Crawford), Youth Services (Charlie Bohlen), Community Outreach (Sherry Reinhardt), Polio (Deb Perry), Club Admin (Vickie Baxley), Sergeant at arms (Jim Minor), Membership (Brandon Blell) and PR (Ross Bulla). This will be announced formally to the club on Wednesday and then we will accept any other nominations to these posts and will vote (as a club) in January.
John Davis will be our speaker this week from Lincoln Parks & Rec and next week, it’s the year end meeting from the crew from MUSIC IN THE PARK. Although unofficial, you could say our club will be having some good discussion the next two weeks on the park, our role in it and our future direction with the park. It’s an important discussion and we want your feedback.
