It’s hard to believe that we are already well into June. Schools out and it i’s the month of weddings and vacations. Speaking of vacay, I am currently driving to Southport NC where Jason and I are going to partake in a week off. (This is almost unheard of in our house where we both own our businesses.)
Then I remembered…The Newsletter! I thought to myself, I’ll just let this week go and not send a message - I’m sure you are very tired of mine by now. But then I thought…I made a commitment to do this. I didn’t want to push it off on Craig last minute - that is not fair to all concerned. I want to finish this year strong as our club president! I have revered every minute of this year (no seriously, I have!) The past 11 years as a Rotarian I have learned so much about people and, most of all - myself. I need to finish with the same passion in which I started. Thank you everyone for the support and the lessons. They have sincerely shaped me into a different person than I was when I first entered our meetings.
So, with all of that said, I want all of us to finish off this year strong. One of my goals has been for us to have fun while conducting service projects. I feel this has been accomplished but we have 2 more events this year. This weekend is Music in the Park with the CAT 5 band. Let’s get out there and show Denver what we are all about.
The last event, other than regular meetings, is our end of year Changing of the Guard, so to speak. The Social Committee has been diligently working on making this a fun and memorable event. Please remember to RSVP if you and your significant other can attend. It will be a wonderful opportunity to celebrate a year of great accomplishments and to looking forward to the year ahead.
I will miss you this Wednesday but I will see you on Saturday!
Yours Truly in Rotarian Service,
Andie

He met a woman at the tip of the spear in the effort to eradicate polio near the Afghanistan and Pakistan borders. During the House of Friendship he brought back several flags from Indian and Taiwanese clubs.
Jim celebrated the successful and fun Day at the Lake, while challenging his wife to match money for their 31st anniversary.
Thomas put in for Charlie's help last week in his absense.
