I sure hope everyone enjoyed their weekend! I know I did because I was with some of the best human beings in the world. It was great to see families, laughing, smiling, and making memories at Day at the Lake for Foster children. Camp Dogwood is an incredible venue, and the weather could not have been better. I want to thank everyone who came out or supported in other ways one of our signature projects for the Denver/Lake Norman Rotary. And thank you to Sherry Reinhart and her team from coordinating an almost flawless day. The swimming, boating, and fishing were a hit and the food was delicious. A special shout out to David Greenberg with Coca-Cola Consolidated for donating a variety of soft drinks and water! We were also super fortunate to have T-Mobile sponsor the venue. And they are doing it again next year! I am overjoyed, as I often am, when this crew comes together, especially in action for the good for others. Our next project is right around the corner on June 12 where we will be packing up birthing kits.
I will see you on Wednesday!
