First, a big shout-out to Michelle Busch for assembling a small group of Rotarian volunteers who will heading to Boone on October 28th for three days to work with the Samaritan's Purse organization and assist homeowners affected by Hurricane Helene. Great work, Michelle!
It is always a pleasure to hear from the Lincoln Economic Development Association's Cliff Brumfield as we did this past Wednesday. His organization is doing amazing things to encourage business growth in Lincoln County.
President-elect Trudie Crawford will be filling in for me this Wednesday as Jeane and I take a break to celebrate our 34th anniversary. Our guest speaker will be Claudia Perkinson from Heart of the Carolinas Unitarian Universalist Animal Ministry whosemission is to improve the lives of animals and educate owners on their care and comfort. Should be a really interesting presentation.
See you in two weeks!
