President's Message

Dear Rotarians,

Last week at our Wednesday morning meeting we had the privilege of learning more about our Rotary foundation from Jon Teich. He spoke of love as being one of the greatest motivators for giving to the Foundation and for the donations it puts into action here in our own country and around the world.

Just a couple of numbers to help capture the immeasurable impact the Rotary Foundation has:
4 Billion = the dollars given by the Rotary Foundation on life saving, sustainable projects.
500 = the dollars it takes to launch an anti-bullying program to promote a safe and more peaceful environment for children.
106 = the amount of disaster relief grants approved last Rotary year by the Rotary Foundation.
50 = the dollars needed to provide the means to clean water to prevent waterborne illnesses.
60 = the amount of cents that provides the vaccine that protects a child from polio.
These service projects in action are made possible by you and our fellow Rotarians who donate to the Rotary Foundation every year.

The love and care that inspires your support of the Rotary Foundation are what makes all of the good Rotary does possible.
Every Rotarian Every Year is not just a slogan, it truly is about making life better for others around the world - improving every day quality of life and responding when disaster strikes. It is love in action.

I am so proud of your kind and loving hearts and all you do!
Thank you!

With Gratitude,
Trudie
