Thanks to all of those who attended our weekly meeting which was at St Peters due to the strong rain we have received lately (were going to meet at Rescue Squad Park).
Two members, Charlie Bohlen and Terri Livingston spoke of Guardians ad Litem - an organization which helps advocates “to improve the lives of the abused and neglected children of Lincoln County, NC”. A superb program and a superb organization and yet another interesting program brought forth by a member of our club.
This week it’s birthing kits (!) as we are creating birthing kits (assembly line style) headed up by our own Trudie Crawford. We will be meeting at Unity again!
This will be my last meeting as President of this club since next week (July 5th) we will not meet and the week after (July 12th) Andie Taylor will start her year as President. It has been a privilege to be your President for the last year and THANK YOU to all of you for affording me this opportunity!
See you Wednesday…. At Unity!
