My goodness, the amount of responses, both myself, and Jason received about his presentation on civics at last week's meeting was overwhelming. Both the topic and delivery were very well received. Jason took a subject that could often be politically charged and broke it down into a matter of facts discourse. Where have the lessons gone regarding the foundation of our nation, the fundamentals of our government and how these entities function? Jason certainly did his research and cited solid resources to support his concerns that they did fall by the wayside to create room in the education of students in the STEM subjects. It is an eye-opening topic that is grabbing national attention.
Thank you all for your support and kind responses to Jason’s little, but apparently impactful, presentation. We hope you left feeling good about what you learned and perhaps even stirred to want to learn more about ways to help bring the civility back to civics.
