Season Greetings to everyone! 

I hope each of you are enjoying the holidays so far. Where it is fun to spend time with family and friends it is also a good time to reflect on the accomplishments of the past 12 months as well as prepare for the year ahead. We, as Rotarians have done so much. There is still more to do but I want to say thank you to everyone who participates in the ways that they can. 

December is Disease Prevention and Treatment Month. Rotary educatess and equips communities to stop the spread of life-threatening diseases. Members have hundreds of health projects underway around the world at any given time. We also combat diseases like malaria, HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer’s, multiple sclerosis, diabetes, and polio. Prevention is important, which is why we also focus on health education and bringing people routine hearing, vision, and dental care.  

We have two more meetings this year. (Reminder we will not meet December 20th or 27th due to the holidays.)  This Wednesday our Past District Governor - Tammy Mosteller will be visiting our group to present an award that was unable to be given at the District Foundation Banquet back in October. We also have three Paul Harris Fellows to recognize.  Along with the great fellowship, I’m sure there will be a few committee reports so be sure to warm up the car a few minutes earlier so we can enjoy our time together.
