President's Message

Way to show up, Denver/Lake Norman Rotary!

The Pints and Pinot for Polio fund raiser at Royal Bliss Brewing was a smashing success on all fronts!  I want to thank everyone who helped make this event so spectacular.  From planning to execution it was a stellar collaborative effort.  Thank you! Thank you!  Debbie Perry - you are one go-getter of a Polio Plus Committee Chair.  Double Thank You as well to our beloved District Level Polio Plus Chair Trudie Crawford.  A big shout out to the Social Committee for all of the work done to prepare as well as on site set up!  It was so nice to spend the evening with over 45 Rotarians and Guests.  All in all $2455 was raised and a handful joined the Polio Plus Society on the spot.  Congrats to those who won the raffle baskets and the raffle.  I also want to thank Rich Lyon - State Farm for sponsoring the use of the upper deck/party room and to Royal Bliss for allowing our crew use of their lovely facility.  The food was delicious, the service was wonderful, and the atmosphere provided such a cool vibe to spend a gorgeous October evening with our Rotarian family as well as to bring a presence to the DLKN Rotary Club.  One event down and many more fun times ahead for this group as we continue with socials and fellowship.  I’m so proud to be a part of this amazing community we have created.

Your Rotary Cheerleader,

Andie
