Happy Monday my fellow and beloved Rotarians! At this week’s meeting we have the honor of hearing from the 2025-2026 Rotary President Nominee - Mario Cesar Martins de Camargo via zoom! Why is this so special? He will be the leader of our Million+ member global service organization! That is no small feat and, I imagine, a most humbling position where you have one year to spread Rotary’s message around the world! Our meeting will be set up a little differently and I ask you to please grab your breakfast Monday morning as quickly as possible so we can conduct a little business before all eyes turn to the big screen to hear his message - and then we get to ask a few questions! If you cannot make it in person but would love to hear from him please refer to this zoom link:
We had an absolute blast on the Charlotte Funny Bus this past Saturday! How I have lived in the Charlotte region for over 30 years and not done that I do not know. Thank you to Michelle and Jill for putting that together. It was fun to laugh with friends at “facts” about the Queen City. If you have not done it, it is definitely worth it. Jason and I are looking forward to our next DLKN Rotary event taking place Thursday April 25th at the Outfitter in Trilogy. This is a meet and greet social to spread the word about what we do and hopefully find some collaboration with those who are a part of Trilogy’s Service Club.
I look forward to seeing your smiling faces on Wednesday! Make it a great week!
